This post shares how manipulation (a form of deception, aka evil) is sneaky but widespread. We all do it, and the worst is found within the church. Enjoy!
About 15 years ago my son introduced his new girlfriend to me. “Dad, we’ve had an accident. You’re going to be a grandfather!” He announced.
“Cool!” I said, ignoring the fact that he had disobeyed me and my years of paternal advice that it was best to keep your pants on until you had a ring on her finger!
“When are you going to get married?” I then asked him.
Oh boy her neck couldn’t move fast enough as she looked directly at him and her whole being asked the same question, “Well?”
I later confided in him that I didn’t think that this was any ‘accident’.
“She’s a great Mum”, her parents say.
“She’s a great wife too,” my son says.
“Sure,” I think to myself but I know that this pregnancy wasn’t an ‘accident’.
After 13 years I was wandering past a Te Kuiti lawyer and asked her if she could help me get to see my grand kids (pl now) essentially for the first time. “Sure thing,” she said. Almost two years later and now what? Ah . . . and she’s the one who is the goody-goody-two-shoes!
I think the same as I always have about her . . . manipulative. Taught to be so, from a family where the men can’t stand up and be men because the women really wear the pants.
My son will eventually work it all out, if he hasn’t already.
We All Do It
Manipulate that is.
I do it via this blog. Others use verbal threats and other tricks to get others onside with their way of thinking, and if you ever stand up to them watch out, especially if they are women! Note well that to stand up to evil is to stand for something – usually something good, like truth.
The Religious Aspect
The church is supposed to be the pinnacle of faith. It’s not but it should be, so that is where this evil hides out most.
Manipulation – it’s evil, akin to deception. Ministers, Politicians, Lawyers, the Police, wives and more. I hate it and resist it whenever I encounter it – regardless of the price I am forced to pay.
Do the same yourself and I’ll support you too.
The History
This post was originally put up then was taken down upon gaining legal advice. This lawyer has now been fired ‘let go’ as in my re-reading of this all claims of fact are all valid and true or otherwise clearly marked as my opinion, and so it goes back up.
It’s not conducive to spreading goodwill especially among the liars and men haters – oh, for sure!
